Leading provinces for number of green jobs in Italy 2018

In 2018, most green jobs in Italy were found in the Northern Italian city of Milan. More specifically, the number of green jobs in the city amounted to 63 thousand occupancies. Moreover, Rome and Turin ranked second and third, whereas the Southern Italian city of Naples ranked fourth. Nationwide, the largest number of green jobs were found in the North-West, where over one million positions were related to this field.Green jobs are jobs which contribute to benefit the environment. For instance, working in the sector of renewable energy or sustainable manufacturing is considered a green job.
