资源简介:
Water deficiency in soil and apoplastic barrier formation along the root length were investigated and histochemistry of root cross sections, chemical composition of apoplastic barriers, and gene expression patterns during the root developmental were additionally analysed in parallel. It was the main aim comparing the responses of the modern barley with wild barley to water stress in soil. Furthermore, the responses of soil-grown roots should be compared the responses when cultivated in hydroponics (Kreszies et al., 2019). Scarlett and Pakistan, when cultivated in soil, had significantly different responses in comparison to hydroponic cultivation, since in soil suberization occurred much earlier towards the root tip and amounts of aliphatic suberin as well as root length was doubled.
