资源简介:

The data were obtained as part of the project entitled: The dissection of a septal pouch allowing to preserve the present thrombi and to evaluate the relationship between thrombus and endocardium in the context of the study on human ischemic brain stroke conducted on animal model - preliminary study, project number 2024/08/X/NZ4/00518 financed by National Science Centre. The project used left atrial samples obtained post mortem from 30 cats and subjected to histopathological and immunohistochemical analysis. Cats number 03 and 26 were excluded from the study due to either cardiac neoplastic disease or congenital defect, not visible prior dissection, therefore the files number 03 and 26 are missing and files number 31 and 32 show the results of cats that were added to the study to meet the sample size. The immunohistochemical analysis used antibodies against: CD31, vimentin, von Willebrand factor, E-cadherin, VE-cadherin, alpha-smooth muscle actin, beta-catenin, N-cadherin, fibronectin, and transgelin. Data set contains raw data acquired from the microscopic analysis of obtained samples. The analysis included the presence and extent of endothelial-to-mesenchymal tranformation, character of the left atrial inner material, and the specificity, intensity and extent of immunoreaction within endothelial cells.
