Raw Questionnaire Data for Impact of Quality of Life on Stroke Risk: WHOQOL-BREF and ASA Stroke Risk Assessment in Taif Population Study.

This is the raw questionnaire data for the research "Impact of Quality of Life on Stroke Risk: A Population Study in Taif" that used both the World Health Organization's WHOQOL-BREF and the American Stroke Association's Stroke Risk Assessment questionnaires. Variable definitions Physical Health : Numeric 0–100 WHOQOL score (higher = better) Social Health : Numeric 0–100 WHOQOL score Psychological Health : Numeric 0–100 WHOQOL score Environmental Health : Numeric 0–100 WHOQOL score Stroke Risk Group : Categorical Low Risk, Middle Risk, High Risk QOL Level : Categorical Higher or Lower (based on cutoff, 60) Statistical Analysis: Frequencies for : Age, Gender, DM, HTN, Atrial fibrillation, Bad Diet( the consumptions of low fiber diet and high fat diet), 2 hours exercise daily (yes indicates good physical activity and gives zero in the total risk of stroke score), History of stroke or ACS, Smoking, BMI ( more than 28kg/m), and Total cholesterol (more than 160 mg/dl) one way ANOVA (including Chi square) for : Risk of stroke category and Quality of life Domains ( physical, social, psychological, and environmental) as well as gender and age Multinomial logistic regression for : Quality of life domain and Risk of stroke category.
