Molecular portrayal of Darjeeling tea cultivars towards the selection of superior genotypes

This project aims to determine the varietal differences among Darjeeling tea cultivars and the molecular variations behind the specific agronomic traits for tea. Targeted marker-trait association studies would be helpful in the selection of suitable tea clones from diverse accessions.
