Compute System Simulator: Simulation data and script for plotting Figure 5 - effects of hardware failure

The python script has an option to either generate the data or just plot it. Becuase the simulation software is still closed source, it should only be used for plotting. Therefore, the data are also included to generate the plot and the script has run_simulations set to false. This is plots the data from a series of four simulations: allocation_sizes = [72, 68] # gpus hardware_failures = [true, false] to show the effect of hardware failures on GPU utilization metrics. Requirements to run the plotting script: python3 python packages: matplotlib numpy json If, in futurue, the simulation software is made open source, then install that python package and change the run_simulations flag to true to generate the data yourself.
