This study aims to explore the potential mechanism of Ginsenoside Rg3 against gastric cancer,we first found that the anti-GC cell proliferation by Rg3 in part is via inhibiting the formation of E2F-DP heterodimers, and suppressing the p53-p21-cyclin/CDKs-RB signaling pathway. These find-ings highlight the potential of Rg3 as a natural product with low toxicity and anti-tumor activity in cancer treatment. Total RNA from DMSO or Rg3 treated (48 hours) BGC823 GC cells (3 repeats) was extracted using the RNAiso Plus (9109, Takara, Tokyo, Japan) and sent to Biomarker Technologies Co., Ltd. (Beijing, China) for RNA-Seq analysis.
