This record contains data collected on the FV Tonka between 10 July 1997 and 9 November 1998. During eight trips out of Mooloolaba, Queensland, 71 samples were collected. The data can be used for Ocean Colour sensor validation. Parameters measured are the concentration of chlorophyll and carotenoid pigments and satellite retrieved chlorophyll a estimate.
