This is a grant submitted to the NASA ROSES open source program in January of 2021, under section E.7: "Open Source Tools, Libraries, and Frameworks." This proposal was not selected for funding. It was submitted, in collaboration with the yt steering committee, by a team composed of Matthew Turk, John ZuHone, Kacper Kowalik and Madicken Munk.
