Data and code for: Climate analogues and the emergence of warm summer regimes in Estonia during 1965–2024
收藏资源简介:
This repository contains the analysis code and derived datasets supporting the manuscript"Climate analogues and the emergence of warm summer regimes in Estonia during 1965–2024"(submitted to Climate Risk Management). The study investigates annual climate analogues, recurrent summer temperature regimes, and their large-scale atmospheric circulationbackground in Estonia using daily station observations (1965–2024) and ERA5 reanalysisdata, combining root-mean-square-error-based analogue analysis, hierarchical clustering, principal component analysis, and composite anomaly analysis of 500 hPa geopotential height. The repository includes four Python scripts covering all reported analyses — annualclimate analogues (Table 2), summer temperature clustering and analogue relationships(Figure 1, Tables 3–4), and atmospheric circulation composites (Section 3.7, Figure 4) —along with the derived output datasets (standardized feature matrices, clusterassignments, PCA scores, and heat indicator values) generated by these scripts. All codehas been independently verified to reproduce every reported table and figure in themanuscript exactly. Raw meteorological station data are available from the EstonianEnvironment Agency (Keskkonnaagentuur) upon request; ERA5 reanalysis data are freelyavailable from the Copernicus Climate Data Store.
