As part of the internal IDEE research project (IDentification des sources de bruit dans les Ecoulements turbulEnts), funded through internal resources, ONERA conducted an experimental campaign on the mixed-flow DMFR nozzle (DOI: 10.2514/4.105975.001) proposed by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. This heavily instrumented test campaign was carried out in the ONERA CEPRA19 wind tunnel and aims to improve the understanding of jet noise generation mechanisms. Following a phased release, the database will include the following elements: [May 2026] - Nozzle baseline configuration Target and measured operating conditions of the nozzle; Far-field acoustic measurements - [PSD spectrum]; Near-field acoustic linear array measurements - [Cross Spectral Matrix]; DAMASC source localization from near-field acoustic linear array measurements - [Cross Spectral Matrix]; Three-component Particle Image Velocimetry measurements (PIV) - [Velocities fields]; Time-Resolved Particle Image Velocimetry measurements (TR-PIV) - [Time resolve velocities fields]; Wall static pressure measurements on the nozzle surface - [Static pressure values]. Fairing boundary layer - [Total pressure values]. [End of 2026] - Nozzle baseline configuration Near-field acoustic azimuthal array measurements; Synchronous acoustic with TR-PIV measurements; Synchronous acoustic with TR-BOS measurements; Boundary layer measurements along the nozzle skin; Cobra probe measurements in fan duct; Measurements characterizing the mixing between core and fan flow; Nozzle outlet probing; Hot-wire measurements; Time-Resolved Background Oriented Schlieren measurements (TR-BOS). [End of 2027] - Nozzle with mixer and chevron configuration Far-field acoustic measurements - [DSP Pressure spectrum]; Quick start : The data for each test configuration (see docs/[1]) are stored in associated directories. The data corresponding to each operating point (within a given configuration) are structured in HDF5 format and can be easily visualized using the online tool provided by the HDF Group (https://myhdf5.hdfgroup.org/) and opened with API available in main programming language. All data fields are defined through explicit descriptions provided by the ‘*.descript’ attributes, along with associated units specified in ‘*.unit’ attributes when necessary.
