Potential of 4-hydroxyisoleucine therapy in enhancing fertility of obese male mice

Obesity adversely affects sperm quality and ultimately impairs male fertility. Therefore, therapeutic interventions to improve the fertility of obese male individuals are of utmost importance. This preliminary study examined the therapeutic effects of 4-hydroxyisoleucine (4-HIL) on fertility parameters in male mice model of diet-induced obesity.
