The purpose of this ledger was to record the fees collected from stock-holders in the Dumaresq Shire for cattle. The ledger, in the format of a bound volume, was arranged alphabetically under stock owner, this ledger included stock owner’s Address, Date, Fees due (calculated according to head of cattle), Date Fees paid and Method. Custody History These files were in the custody of Dumaresq Shire Council until 1995 when they were transferred to the Regional Archives.
