PROSPECTS FOR RECYCLING OF LI-ION BATTERIES

This scientific and practical article analyzes the current state, technological processes, environmental and economic efficiency, as well as the innovative development directions of lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery recycling. In the context of global energy transformation accompanied by a rapid increase in the use of battery systems, the effective utilization and secondary recovery of their components have become urgent issues. The study provides a scientific assessment of the advantages and disadvantages of pyrometallurgical, hydrometallurgical, and direct regeneration methods. Particular attention is given to evaluating the prospects for industrial implementation of these technologies under the conditions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, taking into account the national priorities of sustainable development and environmental safety.
