**Overview**
The J.D. Power North America Hotel Guest Satisfaction Study provides a unique dataset of United States and Canadian hotel guests (past 30 days) staying at branded hotel properties in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. For all hotel segments (luxury, upper upscale, upscale, etc.), this dataset includes guest satisfaction ratings across various aspects of the hotel stay, such as guest rooms, food & beverage, and staff service. The dataset also includes profiles for guests and hotel loyalty program members, including length of stay, travel companions, usage of hotel facilities and amenities, usage of hotel technology, hotel segment and property types, and much more. Hotel research and booking behavior data, in addition to guest demographic data, are also included.
**Use cases**
- Track guest usage and satisfaction with hotels located in U.S. markets (region, state, and/or city), or with various types of hotels such as resorts, urban hotels, or airport hotels.
- Track hotel guests’ nationwide or market-specific hotel research and booking behaviors
- Obtain insights into hotel behaviors across specific guest types and demographics (i.e. leisure and business travelers, millennials, families with children, etc.)
- Obtain insights into hotel behaviors among loyalty program members and hotel co-branded credit cardholders.
