Source videos and crop definitions for "Co-occurrence of rapid motion and short inter-fly distance as a proxy for Drosophila male aggression"

This dataset contains eight 10-min source video recordings underlying the 27 male-pair recordings analyzed in the study “Co-occurrence of rapid motion and short inter-fly distance as a proxy for Drosophila male aggression.” The record includes the crop definitions and mapping required to reconstruct the 27 analyzed recordings, video metadata and SHA256 checksums, and a reconstruction script. All source videos are 880 × 892 pixels, 70 frames/s, 42,000 frames, and 600 s in duration. The analyzed male-pair recordings can be reconstructed as 320 × 320-pixel lossless FFV1 AVI files using the supplied crop definitions. Reconstruction was verified for 250425_AG_demo_movie0024_first10min_3: reanalysis of the reconstructed video produced a frame-to-frame brightness-difference CSV that was byte-for-byte identical to the archived analysis CSV used in the study.
