The purpose of this experiment was to demonstrate that RNA staining could be achieved in suspension cells, with comparable specificity and sensitivity to previously established slide based staining method.
Conclusion:
HIV+ cell populations were identified with expected frequencies using both suspension and slide staining methods.

Detection of Low Abundance RNA Molecules in Individual Cells by Flow Cytometry Figure 2a instrument was setup with CST in FACSDiva software.
