Identification of the AdcR-regulated genes in Streptococcus suis by RNA sequencing analysis.

RNA sequencing analysis of the transcriptome of the wild type (WT) strain and ΔadcR mutant. The data revealed that genes encoding the Zn acquisition systems were negatively regulated by AdcR. The WT and ΔadcR strains were cultured in Tryptic Soy Broth supplemented with 10% (vol/vol) newborn bovine serum (TSBS) and grown to mid-exponential phase (OD600 = 0.6). Total RNA was isolated and subjected to RNA sequencing analysis. Biological triplicate samples obtained from three independent experiments were used.
