lcWGS data from Lake Trout in Great Slave Lake, Canada

These data are part of large-scale collaborative project called FISHES (Fostering Indigenous Small-scale fisheries for Health, Economy and Food Security). This community-based research partnership across Canada aims to interweave Indigenous knowledge and western sciences (notably genomics and fisheries science) to improve food security and fisheries stewardship in Northern Indigenous Communities. The specific goals were to characterize population genomic structure and investigate local adaptation. Raw reads submitted here were generated from Lake Trout individuals collected from Great Slave Lake in Northwest Territories, Canada
