青藏高原及毗邻地区冰川湖泊图（1:200万）有中、英两版，是通用的小比例尺地图，概括大比例尺地形图资料，经过取舍，重点突出以冰川和湖泊为主的水资源的分布特征。同时也反映河流及生态的部分特征，并从整体上反映青藏高原及毗邻地区地形地势、山脉走向、江河流向、盆地、平原分布、居民地与交通网之间的关系。

The Glacier and Lake Map of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and Its Adjacent Areas (1:2,000,000 scale) has two versions in Chinese and English. As a general-purpose small-scale map, it is compiled by generalizing and selecting features from large-scale topographic map data, with the primary focus on highlighting the distribution characteristics of water resources dominated by glaciers and lakes. It also reflects partial features of rivers and ecosystems, and comprehensively presents the overall relationships between topography and landforms, mountain trends, river courses, distribution of basins and plains, settlements and transportation networks across the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and its adjacent regions.
