Inflammatory Responses to Polymicrobial Intra-Abdominal Sepsis Are Highly Variable but Strongly Correlated to Enterobacteriaceae Outgrowth

Fecal and peritoneal washing 16S bacterial DNA sequencing data harvested 24 hours post-infection from mice infected with one of three cecal slurry batches or control (vehicle alone), along with measurements of temperature change, weight change, inflammatory cytokine measurements, and qPCR of splenic gene expression. In addition, there is sequencing data from the raw slurry batches prior to infection for comparison.
