Epicardium Regulates Ventricular Compaction

We used single nucleus RNA sequencing (snRNAseq) to show that Numb and Numblike specific deletion in epicardium regulates ventricular compaction via the Numb Family Proteins-Fgf Signaling Overall design: Whole hearts harvested from control (no Cre) and Tbx18Cre/+ mediated Epicardium specific Numb and Numblike double knockout (Tbx18Cre/+; Numbflox/flox; Numblikeflox/flox) E15.5 mice embryos were snRNA sequenced. We analyzed all the cell types in the heart at E15.5 and compared the different expression profiles between control and knockout for all the clusters, to determine how Numb Family Proteins in epicardium regulate ventricular compaction.
