Retrospective, multicentre genomic surveillance of third-generation cephalosporin-resistant (3GCR) Klebsiella pneumoniae from three Tunisian tertiary hospitals (2018â2022). We sequenced 286 clinical isolates (blood and urine) selected from routine national surveillance to characterise resistance mechanisms, clonal diversity, plasmids, and putative transmission. Raw reads and minimal de-identified metadata are provided to support integration of whole-genome sequencing into Tunisia's AMR surveillance.

资源简介:
Third-generation cephalosporin-resistant (3GCR) Klebsiella pneumoniae was recently classified by the WHO as a critical priority. We provide a genomic baseline for Tunisia by sequencing 286 3GCR clinical isolates (blood, urine) collected in 2018â2022 from three tertiary hospitals within the national surveillance system (TARSS). The dataset enables tracking of high-risk clones, plasmid backgrounds, AMR-virulence convergence, and exploratory transmission.
