Dataset with distance, travel times, GTCs in Spain 1867 - Geolocation of railway stations (1848-1930)

We provide a first estimation of travel times between Spanish provinces circa 1867 (with a basic indicator of generalized transportations costs [GTCs]) and the geolocation of railway stations and stops between 1848 and 1930. A fourth sheet lists the geolocation of all railway stations existing in peninsular Spain in the 1848-1930 period, their opening date and whether they belong to the narrow- or wide-gauge railway network. We welcome any collaborations, comments and suggestions leading to the improvement of the dataset. Contributions will be acknowledged in subsequent versions.
