资源简介:
Obesity and altered lipid metabolism is associated with colorectal cancer (CRC). In this context, the presence of colonic lipid-engulfed macrophages (foam cells, FC) may be involved in hindering protective T cell immunity, thus favoring gut carcinogenesis. By analysing FC-enriched versus FC-deprived tissues in stage I-II CRC, we investigated the function of dyslipidemic myeloid subsets with respect to antitumoral immunosurveillance.
