资源简介:
interactions with bacteria at the larval stage influences adult traits related to vectorial capacity. This study addresses the question of whether bacterial communities in breeding site water derived from different ecotypes of Aedes aegypti (urban vs forest) are associated with differential expression of mosquito genes. Axenic (bacteria free) larvae were reared in water collected directly from 3 urban and 3 forest breeding sites in Gabon consisting of the entire complex bacterial community present at each site.
