Temperature profile and water depth data were collected using BT and XBT casts from the ZAMBEZE and other platforms in the Northeast / Southwest Atlantic Ocean. Data were collected from 21 July 1981 to 02 December 1985 by Office De La Recherche Scientifique Et Technique Outre Mer in Brest, France with support from the Seasonal Response of the Equatorial Atlantic Experiment / Francais Ocean Et Climat Dans L'Atlantique Equatorial (SEQUAL/FOCAL) project.
