2020 China County-Level Air Pollutants and Carbon Dioxide Emission Inventory

We have developed a county-level emission inventory of air pollutants and CO₂ within a unified framework in mainland China in 2020.The dataset covers CO₂ and 5 types of air pollutants and includes 16 major source categories.This dataset introduces emissions by species, sector, and county.1) The species include CO₂, SO₂, NOx, PM_2.5, VOCs and NH₃.2) Sixteen emission sectors are reported: power plant, industrial boiler, residential combustion, on-road transportation, off-road transportation, open burning, production of iron and steel, production of cement, other industry, industrial solvent usage, residential solvent usage, oil storage and transportation, waste treatment, livestock, nitrogen fertilizer application, smoking and cooking.3) All of the 2848 counties of 31 provinces in mainland China.
