HHS Villages

Villages are a local, volunteer-led, grassroots organizations that aim to support community members who choose to age-in-place. They foster social connections through activities and events and coordinate volunteer help at home using neighbor helping neighbor model . Montgomery County Health & Human Services Aging & Disabilities Services has a Villages Coordinator, who communicates with the villages and directly edits the tabular data as needed. When an edit to the geography is required, the Village Coordinator contacts TEBS-GIS to make the edit and update the source layer.‘邻里互助村（Villages）’是由志愿者主导的本地基层草根组织，旨在为选择原地养老（age-in-place）的社区居民提供支持。该类组织通过举办各类活动与集会促进社区成员间的社交联结，并依托‘邻里互助’模式协调志愿者为居民提供居家帮扶服务。蒙哥马利县卫生与人类服务部老龄与残障服务处设有邻里互助村协调员岗位，该岗位人员负责与各邻里互助村对接，并根据实际需要直接编辑表格数据。当需要对地理信息图层进行修改时，邻里互助村协调员将联系TEBS-GIS完成修改并更新源图层。
