In recent years, extreme climate events have occurred frequently in this region, with the durations of high and low water levels shortened and prolonged respectively. Therefore, developing a long-term time series dataset of all-weather lake water area for Poyang Lake is critically important for lake water resource assessment, disaster risk prediction, flood disaster prevention, and drought mitigation. This dataset includes raster data of the water area of Poyang Lake and water area statistical data from 2014 to 2023. Specifically, it contains a folder named "Raster Data of Poyang Lake Water Area" with a total of 424 TIFF raster data files, as well as the Excel file "2014-2023 Poyang Lake Area Statistical Data.xlsx".
