2022 dataset was created to assess progress on laws guaranteeing paid leave that matters to health and economic security through a systematic review of legislation governing paid leave and job protection across all US states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico as of December 2022. The dataset covers paid leave for birthing parents, paid leave for non-birth parents, paid medical leave, and paid family leave for serious illness and key features of each type of leave including, duration, wage replacement rate, eligibility criteria, and job protection criteria.
