The process of implementation of English as a medium of instruction in the place of mother-tongue can poses numerous questions concerning implications of English medium, challenges in the implementation for the educators as well as students. This article tries to explore the implications, challenges as well as strategies in the execution of medium of instruction in English in the place of mother-tongue in multilingual classrooms. Drawing insights from existing researches and scholarly works, this paper aims to present a broad overview of the critical issues surrounding this transition. It presents the objectives to write this paper, cover review of related literature on this topic. The study utilises a qualitative approach, browsing the internet, and focusing on the topic to gather the data. Ultimately, this article offers valuable insights into the implications of instructions being done in English, the complexities of the implementation and proposes strategies to address these challenges effectively. This viewpoint will contribute the significant knowledge on the issues regarding the implications, challenges and tactics in the English medium instruction in the place of Mother-tongue.
