The aim of the project was to investigate the effect of nuclear receptor activation, particularly of the vitamin D receptor, on chromatin structure, and associated functional changes in the transcriptional response of THP-1 cells. Overall design: HiC was performed on THP-1 cells, with either control (24 h vehicle) or 24 h 100 nM 1,25(OH)2D3 treatment.
