This dataset is a contribution to "Global DAS month" initiative February 2023, which objective is to monitor global seismicity using DAS
The IGN-ADIF dataset contains records from a pre-installed telecommunication fiber-optic cable belonging to ADIF. The fiber is along the high speed traintrack Madrid-Valladolid. An Aragon Photonics HDAS interrogator unit was connected in "Soto del Real (Madrid side) and the fiber was sampled until Segovia (about 36 km lenght). Most part of the fiber is in the Guadarrama tunnel, crossing the Central Mountain Range of Iberian Peninsula. Data were acquired at a sampling frequency of 100 Hz and a spatial resolution of 100 m. Data for the "Global DAS Month" initiative are available on PubDAS.
