This study was conducted to investigate the effects of different additives on the bacterial communities of silage hybrid Pennisetum. The experiment was assigned into five treatments and labelled as CK (control group), MA, GL, CE and BS (adding 1% malic acid, 1% sucrose, 100 U/g cellulase and 106 cfu/g B. subtilis on the fresh weight basis). After a 120-day fermentation, the silage packages were opened for the subsequent determination.
