Psychometric properties of the Multidimensional Fatigue Inventory (MFI-20)

Random sample of German residents aged 16 and older, recruited as part of a broader cross-sectional questionnaire survey ("Repräsentative Befragung der deutschsprachigen Wohnbevölkerung zum körperlichen und geistigen Wohlbefinden - 2021"). Data acquisition was between October and December 2021. “ADM Sampling System for face-to-face surveys” was used to draw a representative German sample. A market and social research company (USUMA GmbH, Berlin, Germany) performed the subject acquisition and face-to-face interviews by trained interviewers. Overall, 5901 persons were contacted, 2526 participated (others did not respond or were ill or otherwise unavailable at the appointed interview date), 2509 completed the interview and the self-report battery.
