Gene Expression Changes in Response to Field-To-Lab Transition in the Argentine Ant, Linepithema humile

The study was intended to examine how the expression of the transcriptome changes when Argentine ants are removed from the field environment and raised in the lab environment. Since many ant studies are conducted on colonies raised in the lab, it is important to examine how the ant's physiology changes in response to the environmental transition between field and lab.
