Solanum procumbens is a valuable medicinal plant, supporting the treatment of liver diseases. Currently, the demand for Solanum procumbens increases, but the supply is not enough to meet the demand, in addition confuse in terms of morphology with the same species in genus such as Solanum torvum, Solanum carolinense, Solanum trilobatum, ... Therefore, in this study, two regions of the gene matK of 11 samples of Solanum procumbens were collected from the provinces of Ha Noi, Quang Ngai, Phu Yen, Gia Lai, Lam Dong, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Long An in Vietnam has been conducted by order and analyzing species by DNA Barcode method.
