PHOENIX MedRes spectral grid, processed for MUSE Spectroscopy

A processed version of the Göttingen Spectral Library's medium-resolution (R=10000) synthetic stellar spectral grid (PHOENIX-ACES-AGSS-COND-2011;Husser et al. 2013, A&A 553, A6), prepared for full-spectrum fitting of VLT/MUSE stellar spectra. Processing applied to the raw downloaded grid, in order: Wavelength range restricted to 4600-9400 Angstroms. Convolved to MUSE's instrumental line spread function (LSF), using the published wavelength-dependent Gaussian FWHM from Bacon et al. (2017), A&A 608, A1, Eq. 8. Resampled to a uniform 30 km/s/pixel logarithmic wavelength grid. Parameter coverage: - Teff: 2300-12000 K, full native grid resolution (untrimmed) - log g: 0.0-6.0 dex, full native grid resolution (untrimmed) - [Fe/H]: [-4.0, -3.0, -2.0, -1.5, -1.0, -0.5, 0.0, 0.5, 1.0] Format: HDF5 (.h5), memory-mappable, containing a `/flux` dataset (n_pixels x n_spectra, contiguous layout) and a `/params` group with onedataset per grid axis giving each spectrum's physical parameters.
