Padua daily total cloud cover 1875-2024

Daily total cloud cover (TCC) observations collected in Padua, Italy, between 1875 and 2024 are reported. The series have been homogenized by means of ECDF matching to the most recent period (SEVIRI_CMA series). The original observations and the final complete corrected time series with the associated metadata are reported.
NOAA.csv contains daily TCC estimated by NOAA20CRv3 between 01/01/1875 and 31/12/2015, average of the 7, 13, 19 local time observations is reported;ERA5.csv contains daily TCC estimated by ERA5 between 01/01/1940 and 31/12/2024, average of the 9, 15, 21 local time observations is reported;SPEC9.csv contains daily TCC collected at the Specola between 01/01/1875 and 14/09/1938, 9 local time observation is reported;SPEC.csv contains daily TCC collected at the Specola between 01/01/1875 and 31/12/1919, average of the 9, 15, 21 local time observations is reported;IDR.csv contains daily TCC collected at the Magrini Observatory of the "Ufficio Idrografico" between 01/01/1920 and 06/11/1989, average of the 8, 14, 19 local time observations is reported;AM.csv contains daily TCC collected by the Italian Air Force between 01/01/1951 and 29/12/1990, average of the 7, 13, 19 local time observations is reported;SEVIRI_CFC.csv contains daily TCC from the Fractional Cloud Cover (CFC) product of CLAAS-3 dataset derived from SEVIRI between 01/01/1983 and 31/12/2020, average of the 9, 15, 21 local time observations is reported;SEVIRI_CMA.csv contains daily TCC from the Cloud Mask (CMA) product of CLAAS-3 dataset derived from SEVIRI between 19/01/2004 and 31/12/2024, average of the 9, 15, 21 local time observations is reported;Hom.csv contains the homogenized daily TCC between 01/01/1875 and 31/12/2024, using SEVIRI_CMA as reference. Metadata are also indicated, reporting the source of each value. The meaning of the metadata codes is reported in Hom_metadata.csv.
