Raw 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequence reads from the microbiomes of a set of conversion residue metabolizing culture tubes. Conversion residues were from either a lignocellulosic biofuel process, or a synthetic medium based on the composition of the lignocellulosic conversion residue. Test tubes were inoculated with a microbial community derived from the aerobic, return activated sludge from a wastewater treatment plant.
