This repository contains design CAD files for a low-cost camera view splitter (quadscope) system, along with an optional spectral filter holder.
1. Two different designs are provided for the quadscope: camera view splitter ('Quadscope_ViewSplitter_Type_01.SLDPRT' and 'Quadscope_ViewSplitter_Type_02_Tomography.SLDPRT').
A. 'Quadscope_ViewSplitter_Type_01.SLDPRT' design is for a four-view splitter with minimum parallax, allowing the unit to replicate the camera view for multivariate imaging.
B. 'Quadscope_ViewSplitter_Type_02_Tomography.SLDPRT' design allows tomographic imaging with the viewing angle set by the user by choosing an appropriate location of the guiding mirror from the view splitter or the distance between the target and the quadscope: view splitter (Object distance). The parallax will be significant here, which is needed for the tomography technique.
2. The quadscope: guiding mirror ('Quadscope_GuidingMirror_Adapter.SLDPRT') redirects the light coming from the target to the respective channels of the quadscope: view splitter. Four of these are needed for the quadscope: view splitter.
3. Spectral filter holder ('Spectral_Filter_Holder_Back_Plate.SLDPRT' and 'Spectral_Filter_Holder_Front_Plate.SLDPRT') is capable of housing two 50 mm diameter (thickness approx. 5 mm) spectral filters, allowing multi-spectral imaging of the target when used along with the quadscope assembly (View splitter and guiding mirrors assembly). This can be used either for multi-color pyrometry or simultaneous multi-species chemiluminescence or laser-induced fluorescence (LIF).
Corresponding 'XX.stl' files required for 3D printing are also provided in this repository. After 3D printing the above holders, the assembly can be completed by adding the corresponding mirrors and filters specified in the paper.
