Current patterns in the aetiology, clinical characteristics and surgical techniques deployed in urethral stricture repair in southeast Nigeria

A retrospective review of the medical records of patients who underwent one or more corrective procedures for urethral stricture in the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu, southeast Nigeria from 2010 to 2023.
Patients' age and demographics were noted. The aetiology of the stricture and other clinical characteristics of the strictures were also obtained from the records. The procedure(s) done and the years of practice of the surgeon were taken note of. The outcome of the procedure(s) was documented in terms peri-op complications, recurrence or no recurrence.
