Threats to revenue in the sports industry worldwide 2020

The coronavirus pandemic had a significant effect on the global sports industry, with many events canceled and professional leagues forced to suspend or postpone their seasons. During an August 2020 survey among sports industry leaders worldwide, some 69.3 percent of respondents stated that the impact of health and safety crises was a significant threat to revenues in the sports industry.
