资源简介:
The data in this file comes from a survey of adult residents in South Florida. The survey results were obtained from a random stratified sample of households in Martin, Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe Counties in South Florida in the year 2014. These data were collected to record baseline human dimensions information and socioeconomic characteristics of South Florida’s coral reef adjacent populations such as human use patterns, management support/opposition, and knowledge, attitudes, and perceptions of coral reefs/coral reef management. These baseline data are being used as a starting point for the National Coral Reef Monitoring Program’s socioeconomic monitoring of South Florida’s coral reefs. Data were collected via telephone using random digit dialing, and the total sample size for this survey was 1,210 with a response rate of 13.4%.
