Bovine metagenome raw sequence reads. Bos taurus

The goal of this study was two-fold: first, to compare the microbial communities isolated from difference regions of the cow udder epithelium: base of the udder, teat skin, teat end, and internal teat canal; second, to quantify the amount of host versus non-host DNA that would be recovered from these locations using a shallow shotgun metagenomic sequence approach.
