In this study, 16S rRNA, metagenomic sequencing and 2Brach-M sequencing were used to detect the microbiota of 8 cadaveric bodies at different stages of decomposition. Nine different sites, including the mouth and nasal passages, heart, liver, spleen, lungs, kidneys, muscles, and intestines, were analyzed and the effectiveness of these methods assessed.
