RNA was extracted from recently fallen acorns beneath Quercus lobata trees grown under ambient air or elevated CO2 conditions at the Staffordshire, in autumn 2023. Acorns harvested were at final size and near or at maturation. Study aims to investigate how elevated CO2 influences gene expression and protein abundance in Quercus lobata acorns.
