We propose to observe 8 galaxy groups with a total exposure time of 48 ks tocomplete observations for a flux limited sample consisting of 67 objects.We will use this well-defined sample to study the scaling law properties oflocal low-mass systems.Only with the requested observations we will be able to correct for sampleselection effects entering in the scaling relations increasing the constrainingpower by a factor of 2 compared to previous samples.Furthermore we will determine detailed thermodynamic profiles puttingconstraints on the feedback processes.Our AO21 proposal was accepted in the category C and with this proposal we would like to ensure that the complete sample gets observed because it is essential to have good data for all the systems.
