资源简介:
Insect gonad plays a central role in reproduction. The gonads of Bactrocera dorsalis mainly include the testis (TE), ovary (OV), male accessory gland (MAG) and female accessory gland (FAG). Each gonad performs different functions and ultimately leads to the formation of mature sperm or egg. However, the study of gene expression and physiological functions in the four sexual gland tissues of the B. dorsalis is still in its infancy. By conducting transcriptome sequencing on TE, OV, FAG, and MAG, and performing comparative transcriptome analysis, we have identified tissue-specific highly expressed genes in each tissue. Interestingly, we also discovered a significant number of unknown genes among them. This finding is highly meaningful and provides valuable clues for further biological research.
